Our Mission

A home is where healing begins

Leaving an abusive relationship takes extraordinary courage. But for many survivors, the hardest part comes after — finding stable, permanent housing without financial resources, credit history, or a support network.

Rise Foundation bridges that gap. We provide direct down payment grants — typically $5,000 to $15,000 — to qualified survivors so they can purchase their first home and build a foundation for a new life.

The Process

Three steps to your own home

01📋

Apply

Complete our confidential online application. We review your situation, housing goals, and eligibility within 5 business days.

02🤝

Connect

You're paired with a dedicated housing navigator who guides you through home-buying, credit counseling, and lender selection.

03🏠

Receive Your Grant

Once you find your home and are under contract, we issue your down payment grant directly to the closing agent.

I never thought I'd own a home. After everything I went through, the idea felt impossible. Rise Foundation didn't just give me a grant — they gave me back my belief in the future.
